1. Job Title: – Director of Engineering
2. Job Summery

The Directors of engineering is expected to play an active role in the development and completion of projects, meet and report back to upper management, plan and monitor work schedules and cash flows, and work with multiple and diverse teams.

1. Roles and responsibilities:

• Reporting to top management.
• Maintaining good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Implementing best practice engineering methods.
• Providing technical guidance to engineering teams and top management.
• Supporting established organizational objectives by developing goals and strategies.
• Presenting budgets and plans.
• Finding and implementing ways to improve cost-efficiency.
• To lead the Engineering department of project coordinators, drafters, designers, and project managers from concept to project close out.
• Provide direction to staff on technical issues.
• Ensuring the staff members have the information and resources they need such that all projects move smoothly through the development process.
• Review and quality control plans to ensure conformance with jurisdictional requirements, client expectations, and company best practices.
• Directly evaluates projects from time to time.

1. Specification:

• MSc/BSc Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management and related field of studies.

1. Experience

• 10/12+ years of relevant working experience in construction, Real Estate.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the industry.

1. Technical and other skills

• Demonstrated technical ability, sound judgment and ability to work effectively with others at all level
• Well organized and ability to act in a professional manor
• Good skills in the application of auto CAD and other available engineering software
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills,
• Belief in developing the skills and talents of others.
